The Legacy of Transition East

This storied Chicago community center (196?-198?) was a hub for the Association for the Advancement of Creative MusiciansAACM and various musical icons from the Black Arts Movement in the 1960s, and and is being revived in that spirit by Eliel Sherman Storey.

Transition East is a memory we decided was valuable enough to resurrect for the Community.
